APC Campaign to Focus on Tinubu’s Achievements, Yari Says
APC Presidential Campaign Council Director-General Abdul’aziz Yari says the 2027 campaign will highlight President Bola Tinubu’s achievements rather than promises.
Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Abdul’aziz Yari, says the party’s 2027 campaign will focus on the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Yari said the campaign would communicate the impact of the administration’s policies and programmes to Nigerians, particularly young people who make up a significant part of the electorate.
He said the campaign would highlight achievements in infrastructure, the economy and security, while ensuring that Nigerians received accurate information about the administration’s performance.
According to him, the APC would rely heavily on young Nigerians to communicate the government’s achievements through social media, community networks and grassroots structures.
Yari said the campaign council was finalising a nationwide youth outreach framework to strengthen its presence across communities and online platforms.
He said young Nigerians should not merely be mobilised to vote but should become ambassadors of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda in their communities and on social media.
The campaign council chairman also said the strategy would help counter misinformation and provide citizens with facts about the government’s policies and achievements.
Yari made the remarks during a meeting with Seyi Tinubu, son of the President, which focused on strengthening youth mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He said the engagement was aimed at building stronger links between the campaign council and youth-focused stakeholders, describing young people as critical to communicating the administration’s message.
Yari expressed confidence that stronger youth participation would improve the APC’s grassroots visibility and help the party communicate its message more effectively ahead of the election.
