Adeleke Dances With Tinubu at APC Campaign Council Inauguration

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has attracted attention after dancing with President Bola Tinubu at the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 Presidential Campaign Council at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Adeleke, popularly known for his energetic dance moves, was among the political figures at the ceremony as the ruling party formalised its campaign structure ahead of the 2027 general election.

The governor’s appearance at the event followed his appointment as the APC’s presidential campaign coordinator in Osun State, despite his membership of the Accord Party.

Tinubu is leading the campaign council as chairman, with Vice-President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda serving as vice-chairmen.

Adeleke’s inclusion in the council reflects his publicly stated support for Tinubu’s re-election bid. The governor has previously explained that his support is linked to his desire to see federal infrastructure projects in the South-West completed.

The appointment has drawn attention because Adeleke contested and won re-election as governor of Osun State under the Accord Party, defeating the APC candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, in the August 15 governorship election.

The APC has said its collaboration with Adeleke is focused on securing Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election and does not mean the party will abandon its candidates in other electoral contests.

The campaign council’s inauguration marks a further step in preparations for the 2027 polls, with party leaders and political allies expected to coordinate mobilisation and outreach across the country.
