The family of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has announced September 10 for her burial in Iperu Remo, Ogun State.

According to an obituary released by the family on Monday, Osoba’s body will leave the Ogun State University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, at 9am for the burial ceremony.

The service will hold from 10am to 11am at Akesan Club, opposite Iperu Morning Market, Iperu Remo, after which she will be interred at the Iperu Remo Cemetery.

The family specified white as the dress code for the burial.

Osoba, also known as Tope Osoba, died in early August 2026 at the age of 40.

The Yoruba-language actress and producer had spent nearly two decades in the Nigerian film industry and featured in productions including Oogun Mi.

She had publicly battled breast cancer and announced her recovery and return to acting in August 2025, describing the period as one of healing, rebranding and empowerment.

Her burial was initially scheduled for August 13 but was later postponed indefinitely by the family.

The family had also urged the public and media to disregard unverified claims surrounding the circumstances of her death and rely on information released through its official channels.
