2027 Presidency, Makinde Appoints Ehilebo Media, Digital Communication Adviser
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has appointed Anthony Ehilebo as his Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication ahead of the 2027 presidential election. The appointment takes immediate effect, with Makinde saying Ehilebo’s background in law and strategic communication will strengthen the Allied Peoples Movement’s campaign messaging.
The presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has appointed Anthony Ehilebo as his Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a statement by Makinde’s Special Adviser on Media, Sulaimon Olanrewaju, on Thursday.
Makinde described Ehilebo as a communication strategist and lawyer whose experience would strengthen the campaign’s efforts to communicate the APM’s message and agenda to Nigerians.
Ehilebo is a senior legal practitioner and strategic adviser with more than 15 years of experience spanning legal practice, political communications and executive consultancy. He was educated at the University of Buckingham and called to the Nigerian Bar in 2009.
The governor said Ehilebo’s expertise would be valuable to the campaign as the APM seeks to present its political agenda and mobilise support ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Makinde also called on Nigerians to support the APM, describing the 2027 election as an opportunity to change the direction of the country.
He accused the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, of failed leadership and urged Nigerians to rally behind the APM’s bid to provide an alternative at the federal level.
The appointment is part of the ongoing formation of Makinde’s presidential campaign structure, with further appointments expected to be announced in due course.
