Rudeboy Responds to Mr P's Claims About Late Mother, Lola

Singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has reacted to fresh claims made by his twin brother, Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, concerning their late mother, Josephine Okoye, his wife, Lola.

Mr P made the claims in the eighth episode of his video series on the long-running dispute within the Okoye family. He alleged that his mother, brothers, Jude, Rudeboy, Tony, pastors confronted him, Lola over their relationship shortly after the birth of their son.

According to Mr P, Lola was poorly received during the family meeting, while their mother allegedly asked her to end her relationship with Peter. He also claimed that Lola was left in tears during the confrontation, alleging that some family members opposed their relationship, pregnancy.

Mr P further claimed that Lola later supported his mother during her illness, spending time with her in hospital. He said their mother eventually acknowledged his son as her biological grandchild, asked his brothers to apologise, but the apology did not happen before her death.

Rudeboy responded in a brief social media post, writing, “Unfortunately, you’re not here to defend yourself. Continue resting, Mum.” His comment appeared to defend their late mother without directly addressing the specific allegations raised by Mr P.

The latest exchange adds to the prolonged dispute between the former P-Square members, which has involved disagreements over family relationships, music royalties, business management, the breakdown of their reunion.
