A large number of voters turned out at Ward 09, Unit 011, Ikire, in Irewole Local Government Area, where APC governorship candidate Bola Oyebamiji is expected to cast his ballot in Saturday’s Osun governorship election.

Voters were seen queuing orderly to exercise their franchise, with some describing the voting process as peaceful and hitch-free.

Some voters expressed confidence that their votes would count, while youthful voters waited in orderly queues to cast their ballots.

Elderly voters were allowed to sit and given priority treatment, enabling them to vote without having to remain in the queue for extended periods.

The turnout at the polling unit comes as voters across Osun State participate in the governorship election, with security personnel deployed to maintain order throughout the exercise.
