OsunDecides2026: Davido Queries Delay in Uploading Results to INEC IReV

Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has questioned the delay in uploading results from Saturday’s Osun State governorship election to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s Result Viewing Portal (IReV).

In posts on his X account, Davido called on INEC to provide timely updates and transparency, questioning why no results had been uploaded to the portal as of 2:33pm.

He also urged voters to remain at their polling units until their results were uploaded to IReV and ensure that the figures recorded on the electronic EC8A result form matched the results announced at their polling units.

“Make sure your polling unit results are uploaded on IReV in your presence,” the singer said, urging voters to follow their votes through the results process.

Davido further asked voters to photograph their polling-unit result sheets and send the images to a WhatsApp number he shared on social media.

He also commented on the BVAS, claiming that where the rear camera on a device was malfunctioning, officials could use the front camera instead.

Davido, whose uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, is seeking re-election on the Accord Party platform, has openly campaigned for the governor during the election.
