OsunDecides2026: APC Deputy Gov Candidate Hails Voters’ Turnout
APC deputy governorship candidate Kayode Adereti praised voter turnout, security arrangements and BVAS performance after voting in Ife Central, urging Osun residents to participate peacefully in the election.
The APC deputy governorship candidate, Kayode Adereti, has commended the impressive voter turnout during Saturday’s Osun State governorship election.
Adereti spoke after casting his vote at Ward 11, Unit 3, Ilare, in Ife Central Local Government Area, where he also praised the security arrangements and the smooth operation of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS).
He described the electoral process at his polling unit as peaceful, saying voters had turned out in large numbers to exercise their civic responsibility.
Adereti said he was satisfied with the performance of the BVAS machines and noted that the accreditation process was progressing smoothly.
“The turnout is impressive and the security is perfect. The BVAS is working well, and everyone is happy here.”
He urged more residents to come out and vote, while appealing to voters, political parties and their supporters to remain peaceful and respect the rules throughout the electoral process.
