Hunter Biden Says Joe Biden's Cancer Has Spread, Describes It as Painful

Hunter Biden has revealed that his father, former United States President Joe Biden, is facing a worsening battle with cancer, saying the disease has spread to his bones, become painful, debilitating.

Hunter made the disclosure during an interview with the BBC, saying it had been difficult watching his father deal with the illness. He said the cancer had metastasised to Biden's bones, describing the situation as increasingly difficult for the family.

The former president was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer in May 2025, shortly after leaving office. He had previously said he was receiving treatment, remained optimistic about managing the disease.

Hunter said the illness had taken a significant toll on his father, expressing concern that Biden tends to minimise his suffering rather than complain about the pain.

Despite his condition, Hunter described his father as the centre of the Biden family, praising him as a supportive father, husband, grandfather.

The latest disclosure provides a more serious picture of Biden's health, with reports confirming that his prostate cancer has progressed beyond its original site.
