Adeosun: Family Releases Burial Plans as Ex-Minister Shares Tribute Photo

The family of Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun, popularly known as Sparrow, has released his burial arrangements following his death on August 5, 2026.

The burial programme, obtained by The Eagle Online on Sunday, stated that the funeral activities would take place in Lagos.

A farewell ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, at Harbour Point Event Centre, Wilmot Point Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.

This will be followed by a funeral service on Thursday, August 13, at 10am at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), City of David, Trinity Towers, Chief Yesufu Abiodun Oniru Road, Victoria Island.

The burial arrangements, signed by Wale Adeosun, also specified white as the dress code for Wednesday and blue for Thursday.

Meanwhile, Adeosun’s wife and former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, paid tribute to her late husband by sharing a loved-up photograph of them.

In the emotional post, the former minister described Anthony as her beloved husband and best friend.

“Farewell my beloved husband and best friend,” she wrote alongside the photograph.

The tribute has drawn attention online as friends, family members and associates continue to mourn the deceased.
