Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has explained that the recent appointment of new special advisers in his administration is aimed at strengthening teamwork improving coordination and enhancing service delivery across government ministries departments and agencies. He dismissed claims that the appointments were politically motivated or designed to sideline any group.

Speaking during a meeting with government officials in Port Harcourt the governor said effective governance requires collective effort trust and collaboration. According to him leadership is not a one man show and appointing capable hands into advisory roles is essential for sound decision making and policy execution.

Fubara noted that the new advisers were selected based on competence experience and commitment to public service rather than political loyalty. He stressed that his administration is focused on results and delivering tangible benefits to the people of Rivers State.

He explained that the advisers would play key roles in policy formulation stakeholder engagement and monitoring of government programs. Their responsibilities include providing expert guidance to the governor coordinating inter agency activities and ensuring that government priorities align with public needs.

The governor also addressed concerns raised by some political actors who viewed the appointments as an attempt to restructure power within the state. He assured residents that the government remains inclusive and open to constructive contributions from all quarters.

Fubara reiterated his commitment to transparency accountability and teamwork stating that his administration would continue to engage professionals and technocrats to strengthen governance structures.
