The founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo, has pronounced divine judgment on bandits and their alleged sponsors, warning of imminent retribution.

Speaking during a Sunday service themed “Covenant Day of Vengeance” at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State, the cleric declared that those responsible for killings and kidnappings across Nigeria would face divine consequences within seven days.

Oyedepo, known for his strong prophetic declarations, stated that unless his calling was in doubt, judgment would be executed swiftly against perpetrators of insecurity in the country.

“Except I am not sent, in the next seven days, I declare judgment upon those responsible for these disasters and their sponsors in Jesus’ name,” he said.

He further told the congregation to expect what he described as “testimonies of vengeance” in the coming days, expressing confidence that divine intervention would soon manifest across the nation.

The cleric emphasized that lasting change would not occur until what he described as divine justice takes effect, noting that criminal elements often persist until confronted by higher authority.

“Until the God of vengeance shows up, the wicked will not give up,” he added.

While addressing broader spiritual matters, Oyedepo also preached on sanctification, urging believers to avoid spiritual complacency. He stressed that ungodliness hinders access to supernatural breakthroughs and can negatively impact destiny.

According to him, moral compromise leads to shame and reproach, warning that holiness remains essential for those seeking eternal life. He reminded worshippers that spiritual discipline and upright living are central to achieving their ultimate goal of eternity.

The sermon combined themes of faith, justice, and personal responsibility, as the bishop called on Nigerians to remain steadfast while trusting in divine intervention amid ongoing security challenges.
