The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has reinstated the FCT Permanent Secretary and the Acting Chairman of the FCT Internal Revenue Service who were earlier suspended over internal administrative issues.
The reinstatement followed a review of reports submitted by investigative panels set up to examine the circumstances surrounding their suspension.
Wike said the decision was taken in the interest of stability and continuity in the administration of the territory, while stressing that accountability remains essential.
He also warned all senior officials to strictly adhere to civil service rules and procedures, noting that any future violations would attract appropriate sanctions.
