Businessman Olakunle Churchill has shared an emotional note following his ex-wife Tonto Dikeh’s announcement that their long-standing dispute has been resolved, Naija News reports. The couple, who separated nearly ten years ago, have now restored peace in their relationship for the sake of their son, King Andre.
Churchill revealed that he was deeply moved when he recently received a call from King Andre for the first time, hearing his son address him as “Daddy.” The moment, he said, reminded him of the power of faith, patience, and perseverance.
He explained that past tensions between himself and Dikeh have now been resolved through forgiveness, understanding, and mutual growth. “The conflict is behind us, and we are now focused on co-parenting with love, care, and a shared commitment to raising our son,” Churchill wrote.
Acknowledging the spiritual and emotional journey that led to their reconciliation, he added:
“Faith has a way of bringing clarity, humility and peace. With God leading, healing and understanding have become possible. Forgiveness has paved the way for a new chapter, and we are moving forward with a sense of peace and mutual respect.”
Churchill also expressed gratitude for having his son back in his life and commended Dikeh for her role in raising him:
“I am grateful to have my son back in my life. Thank you to the amazing mother of my son, Tonto Dikeh, for doing a good job.”
Earlier, Dikeh described the reconciliation as a spiritual breakthrough achieved through prayer, humility, and forgiveness. She confirmed that peace has replaced the bitterness following their separation and that both parents are now united in prioritising their son’s well-being.
Churchill and Dikeh married in 2015 but split less than two years later amid public disputes and court cases over custody. Their son, King Andre, had been at the centre of the conflict before the recent reconciliation brought the family back together.
