Controversial Nigerian social media commentator VeryDarkMan has threatened to publish what he claims is damaging evidence against Pastor Chris Okafor of Grace Nation Bible Ministry and Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin.
The threat was made on Sunday in a video posted on his Instagram page, where he reacted to the arrest of Nollywood actress Doris Ogala. VeryDarkMan demanded her release by Tuesday, 23 December 2025, warning that failure to do so would prompt him to release the alleged evidence in his possession.
According to the influencer, he spoke with Ogala shortly before her arrest and claims she had already transferred all relevant materials to him. He alleged that the actress had been manipulated by senior religious figures, whom he accused of using their positions to exploit women under the guise of faith.
VeryDarkMan described Ogala as a victim rather than a principal actor, insisting she was influenced by pastors who, he claimed, promised material rewards in exchange for her cooperation. He further alleged that many women had similar experiences but were afraid to speak out.
Addressing law enforcement agencies, VeryDarkMan claimed Ogala’s arrest was an attempt to recover evidence from her phone. He insisted that any such effort would be futile, alleging that the materials had been shared with multiple third parties. He warned that if Ogala was not released by the stated deadline, he would proceed with public disclosures.
He also directly named Pastor Chris Okafor and Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin in the video, stating that he possessed extensive proof and was prepared to release it. He added that past encounters with law enforcement had made him more cautious, claiming the materials had been widely distributed to prevent suppression.
Doris Ogala was arrested on Saturday, 20 December 2025, following public allegations she made against Pastor Chris Okafor over an alleged unfulfilled marriage promise. In a series of Instagram posts prior to her arrest, the actress claimed she had been involved in efforts to suppress investigations into a missing child, Testimony, as well as other alleged criminal matters linked to the clerics.
At the time of reporting, the allegations remain unproven, and neither Pastor Chris Okafor nor Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin has publicly responded to the claims.
