President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Maiduguri Borno State to begin a three day official visit as part of his nationwide engagements. The visit is aimed at assessing security conditions reviewing humanitarian efforts and meeting with state leaders.
During the visit the president is expected to hold closed door meetings with military commanders traditional rulers and political stakeholders. He is also scheduled to inspect key infrastructure projects and interact with displaced persons affected by insurgency.
Government officials say the visit underscores the administrations commitment to restoring peace rebuilding communities and strengthening security in the North East region.
