Tomike Adeoye hosted the second edition of her annual Party With Olori Ebi, bringing together 1,000 members of her online community for a day filled with celebration, music, food and the familiar warmth that has become a hallmark of her November gatherings.
Unlike the typical celebrity-fan dynamic, Tomike’s relationship with her audience is rooted in closeness and community. The nickname “Olori Ebi”—meaning Head of the Family—was not self-assigned but emerged organically from the way she consistently addressed her followers as “family members”.
A Celebration in Sky-Blue
This year’s Asoebi theme featured sky-blue fabric with white printed motifs, creating a soft, dreamy palette that set the tone for the event. The colour choice gave the venue an airy, serene feel, with guests appearing as though they were dressed in cloud-inspired ensembles.
Tomike’s Look
As the host and central figure of the celebration, Tomike made a striking entrance in a custom sky-blue outfit. The bodice featured two sculpted rose-shaped cups and a beaded midsection that shimmered like cascading crystals. The fabric flowed into a mermaid-style skirt adorned with delicate white patterns resembling scattered clouds, completed by a gentle train that followed her movement.
Guest Interpretations of the Theme
The sky-blue colour story carried through the crowd of 1,000, offering a range of interpretations:
- Soft, romantic styles with flowing fabrics, airy sleeves and delicate appliqué details.
- Structured, dramatic silhouettes featuring corsets, bold cuts and refined tailoring.
- White floral patterns across the garments provided cohesion without overpowering the looks, symbolising unity, renewal and the familial spirit at the heart of the event.
The result was a visually cohesive gathering where guests embraced the theme with creativity and elegance. Below is a selection of how attendees translated the sky-inspired brief into their own unique, stylish ensembles.
