Nigerian businessman Olakunle Churchill stirred conversations on social media after sharing details of how he spent Mother’s Day celebrating his mother.

The entrepreneur treated his mother to a special outing that included flowers, gifts, and a luxurious dinner. Videos shared on his social media pages showed the celebration, where he was also seen spending time with reality TV star Kiddwaya.

The posts quickly attracted attention online because Churchill’s tribute focused entirely on his mother. Many observers noticed that he did not publicly mention his current wife, Rosy Meurer, or his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh, both of whom are mothers.

Meanwhile, Tonto Dikeh also marked the occasion with a reflective message on social media. In her post, the actress expressed gratitude for motherhood and acknowledged Churchill as the man who made her a mother. She also extended Mother’s Day wishes to his mother.

Churchill’s Mother’s Day tribute sparked mixed reactions among fans, with some praising him for honouring his mother while others debated the absence of mentions of the mothers of his children.

The development once again drew public attention to the relationship history between Churchill and Tonto Dikeh, whose marriage ended in 2017 after a widely publicised separation.
