Observers say the new Vice Chancellor will need strong managerial skills to balance growth with quality assurance.
Staff unions have welcomed the appointment, expressing hope that Ogunwole leadership will bring stability and open communication. Student representatives also called for improved campus facilities more accommodation and enhanced digital learning resources.
Education analysts note that leadership continuity and strategic planning are critical for young universities like FUOYE. They emphasize that attracting research grants strengthening industry collaboration and maintaining academic standards will be central to the institution future competitiveness.
