Former Senate President Ken Nnamani has denied reports claiming that he apologized to Labour Party leader Peter Obi following recent political disagreements. Nnamani described the reports as false misleading and taken out of context.

In a clarification he stated that while he respects Obi and acknowledges their shared history there was no apology issued as suggested by online publications. He said discussions held were private and focused on national issues rather than personal grievances.

Nnamani emphasized that political discourse should be based on facts and integrity warning against the spread of misinformation. He expressed concern that false narratives could deepen divisions and distract from substantive policy debates.

Political observers note that both figures have played significant roles in Nigeria’s democratic evolution and that any interaction between them naturally attracts public interest.

Nnamani reiterated his commitment to constructive engagement and urged Nigerians to focus on ideas rather than personalities. He added that political maturity requires honesty and restraint in public communication.
