Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Ibrahim Musa Gusau has travelled to London to visit injured Super Eagles defender Ola Aina, offering moral support as the player works his way back to fitness.
Aina picked up an injury during Nigeria’s 2026 World Cup qualifier against South Africa in Bloemfontein, ruling him out of subsequent fixtures. He is currently in the United Kingdom following a carefully managed rehabilitation programme overseen by medical specialists.
During the visit, Gusau conveyed the federation’s best wishes and assured the Nottingham Forest defender of the NFF’s unwavering support throughout his recovery process.
With the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco drawing closer, the Super Eagles camp remains optimistic that Aina will regain full fitness in time to join the squad for the tournament preparations.
