The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association has reported a fresh attack on its members resulting in multiple casualties and the killing of several cows. The incident reportedly occurred in a rural community where armed attackers stormed grazing areas.
According to the association several herders were injured while many livestock were either killed or left wounded. Community leaders have condemned the attack and called on security agencies to intervene urgently.
Miyetti Allah warned that continued attacks on herders could escalate tensions between farming and pastoral communities. The group urged the government to improve rural security and promote peaceful coexistence.
Security agencies have yet to release an official statement on the incident.
