Jake Paul has appeared to disclose the potential financial package for his upcoming fight against Anthony Joshua, suggesting a staggering $267 million pot for the December 19 clash in Miami.

The American YouTuber-turned-boxer and the former unified heavyweight world champion announced their highly anticipated bout earlier today. The fight, set for the Kaseya Center in Miami, will be broadcast globally on Netflix, marking another major crossover event in Paul’s rapidly expanding boxing career.

With a sizeable gap in size, experience and pedigree between both fighters, fans immediately speculated that an enormous payout was needed to bring Joshua into the ring with Paul. Responding to the rumours, Paul posted on social media:
“Stop asking me. $267 Million.”

The figure has not been independently confirmed. UK outlet The Sun has instead reported that both fighters are expected to split £100 million, giving each man around £50 million. Meanwhile, The Daily Mail claims both Joshua and Paul will earn $92 million each, roughly £70 million.

Even the lower estimates represent one of the biggest paydays of Joshua’s career. His personal record of £60 million came from his first fight against Andy Ruiz Jr., meaning the proposed earnings for this matchup would be in that same elite bracket.

AJ Returns After Dubois Defeat

The bout will be Joshua’s first outing since his knockout loss to Daniel Dubois in September 2024. He enters the ring carrying a professional record of 28 wins and 4 defeats, with 25 knockouts.

The matchup has been sanctioned as a full professional contest under Queensberry rules, featuring eight rounds, three minutes each, with 10oz gloves.

On the other side, Jake Paul continues to build momentum after his shocking victory over Mike Tyson in late 2024. He brings an approximate record of 12–1 into the fight, with his profile—and reputation for upsetting expectations—still rising.

The December showdown promises to be one of the most commercially watched fights of the year, regardless of the final confirmed purse.
