Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO) has announced the launch of the third edition of its “Take on Squad” Hackathon, inviting developers, designers, and entrepreneurs to submit applications.
The initiative underscores GTCO’s commitment to driving innovation, nurturing talent, and supporting the development of technology-driven solutions that address real-world challenges across Africa.
Now in its third edition, the hackathon is designed to bring together participants from across Nigeria in a collaborative environment to build practical solutions in key sectors such as financial services, healthcare, commerce, and digital inclusion.
This year’s theme, “Smart Systems: The Intelligent Economy,” challenges participants to design and develop intelligent, data-driven solutions that can transform how communities interact with financial systems and digital services.

Speaking on the initiative, the Managing Director of HabariPay, Eduophon Japhet, highlighted the importance of continuous innovation in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.
