The governor welcomed the returnees on Thursday and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to their safety, rehabilitation and the long-term security of their community. Addressing the rescued individuals and other stakeholders present, Governor Sani assured them that the state government would take immediate steps to support their recovery and reintegration. He emphasized that beyond immediate relief, the government would implement measures aimed at restoring their livelihoods. According to him, targeted assistance, particularly for small-scale businesses and other income-generating activities, would be provided to enable the victims rebuild their lives and regain economic stability.

He said the government would continue to collaborate closely with security agencies, community leaders, and religious institutions to ensure sustainable peace in Tudun Wali and other parts of the state.
