Former presidential aide Babafemi Ojudu has moved to clarify public misconceptions surrounding the Buhari Osinbajo presidential bid. In a detailed statement, Ojudu said narratives suggesting internal betrayal or political manipulation were inaccurate.
He explained that the decision by former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to seek the presidency was based on constitutional rights and consultations, not an attempt to undermine former President Muhammadu Buhari. Ojudu urged Nigerians to view the issue within the context of democratic competition rather than personal conflict.
He called for a more factual and less emotional assessment of events surrounding the 2023 elections.
