Tunisia have issued a strong statement ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after earning an impressive 1–1 draw against Brazil in an international friendly on Tuesday.

The North Africans, who will face Nigeria in Group C of the AFCON finals, extended their unbeaten run to six matches with the result—four victories and two draws—highlighting their growing momentum ahead of the tournament in Morocco.
Tunisia 1–1 Brazil
Tunisia took a shock lead in the 23rd minute after capitalising on a defensive error from the five-time world champions. Brazil levelled just before the interval, with Chelsea teenager Estevão Willian converting from the penalty spot.
The South Americans had an opportunity to win the game late on, but Lucas Paquetá failed to score from the penalty spot in the 78th minute, allowing Tunisia to hold firm and secure the draw.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will face Tunisia, Uganda and Tanzania in Group C when the 35th AFCON kicks off in December, with the Nigeria–Tunisia clash scheduled for December 27.
