The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), RS11.1 Osun State Sector Command, has conferred the prestigious title of Honorary Special Marshal on distinguished legal practitioner, Dr. Olusola Oyeyemi.
The investiture ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Adolak International Hotel Event Center in Osogbo. The recognition celebrates Dr. Oyeyemi’s sustained contributions to developmental initiatives and his support for institutional advancement within Osun State.
Widely known as the Bamofin of Iyanfoworogi in Ile-Ife, Dr. Oyeyemi has built an accomplished legal career spanning Nigeria and the United States. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in December 1989 and later admitted to practice law in the State of Washington in July 2002. His professional credentials also extend to appearances before U.S. federal courts and multiple Circuit Courts of Appeal.
Over the years, he has handled a wide range of complex immigration matters, including family-based and employment-based petitions, asylum claims, removal proceedings, naturalization applications, waivers, and appellate advocacy before the Board of Immigration Appeals and various U.S. Circuit Courts.
