President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to visit Adamawa State on Monday for a one-day official visit during which he will commission several completed projects across the state.
The Adamawa State Commissioner for Information, James Iliya, disclosed on Sunday in Yola that the state government has concluded all necessary arrangements to receive the President. He said the visit reflects federal recognition of the developmental progress recorded under the administration of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.
According to Iliya, the visit will serve as a validation of the infrastructural and socio-economic projects executed by the Fintiri-led government. The projects cover key sectors aimed at improving the welfare of residents and boosting local development.
The commissioner added that adequate security and logistical measures have been put in place to ensure a smooth and successful visit. Tinubu’s visit is also expected to attract government officials, political leaders, and stakeholders from within and outside the state.
The commissioning of these projects highlights Adamawa’s growing importance in national development and showcases the collaborative efforts between the federal and state governments.
