Bishop Wale Oke, President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of renowned gospel musician and worship leader, Ron Kenoly, who died at the age of 81. In a heartfelt tribute, Bishop Oke described Kenoly as a “true worshipper” whose life was wholly devoted to the service and glory of God.
Paying tribute to the late gospel icon, Bishop Oke praised Kenoly’s humility, spiritual depth, and unwavering commitment to ministry. He noted that Kenoly was not only richly anointed but also carried a unique grace that impacted lives across nations. According to him, Kenoly’s music and teachings consistently ushered individuals, congregations, and even entire nations into powerful moments of worship and divine encounter.
Reflecting on personal experiences, the PFN president recalled hosting Kenoly on several occasions in Nigeria and other parts of the world. He described those moments as rare privileges that allowed him to witness firsthand Kenoly’s passion, discipline, and dedication to the Body of Christ. Bishop Oke emphasized that the late minister carried the presence of God wherever he went, leaving a lasting spiritual imprint on generations of believers.
While mourning his passing, Bishop Oke encouraged Christians to find comfort in the assurance that a life fully committed to God is never wasted.
