A former Minister of State for Transportation Gbemisola Alabi has inaugurated local government campaign coordinators in Kwara State as part of early mobilisation efforts for President Bola Tinubu’s twenty twenty seven re election bid.
The event held in Ilorin brought together party leaders youth groups and grassroots organisers from across the state. Alabi described the inauguration as a strategic step toward consolidating support and strengthening party structures at the local level.
According to her the coordinators will serve as mobilisation anchors responsible for voter engagement policy advocacy and community outreach. She stressed that early preparation is necessary to sustain political momentum and communicate the achievements of the current administration.
Alabi highlighted key reforms undertaken by the Tinubu administration including economic restructuring infrastructure development and social investment programs. She urged coordinators to articulate these achievements clearly to citizens.
She also emphasised unity within the party urging members to avoid internal conflicts that could weaken electoral chances. According to her cohesion discipline and grassroots connection will be decisive factors in future elections.
Party stakeholders at the event expressed confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and pledged continued support. Some youth leaders described the inauguration as evidence of long term planning and organisational readiness.
Political observers note that early mobilisation reflects heightened competition ahead of twenty twenty seven and signals the importance of grassroots engagement in Nigeria’s evolving political landscape.
