The Great Nigerian Assembly (GNA), in strategic collaboration with CPI Education, is delighted to announce the launch of the Certified Digital Journalist – Fundamentals (CDJ-F) training program — a transformational initiative designed to equip aspiring and practicing media professionals with essential journalism skills, ethical grounding, and AI-powered tools needed to excel in today’s fast-evolving information ecosystem.
At a time when misinformation, fake news, deepfakes, AI-generated fabrications, and politically motivated distortions dominate global media spaces, the demand for credible, responsible, and technologically skilled journalists has become a matter of national and international urgency. Unscrupulous actors now use advanced AI tools to manipulate images, audio, and video for malicious or political gain. This program strengthens GNA’s commitment to restoring integrity, credibility, and professionalism in the digital information landscape.

This one-week training (3 days, 2 hours per day)is designed for maximum flexibility. Participants may choose morning, afternoon, or evening cohorts, making it ideal for students, professionals, content creators, and individuals passionate about digital journalism.

📜 Certification Pathway
Upon completing the training, participants become eligible for the Certified Digital Journalist – Fundamentals (CDJ-F) examination, delivered globally through the i3Cert Examination Delivery Platform and administered by the Global Institute for Certified Journalists (GICJ) — a professional group under the International Institute for Innovative Certification (i3Cert).
Successful candidates may advance to the Associate-level certification, opening pathways into:

GN Gesinde has trained numerous journalists and directed major editorial operations across continents.
He will be supported by a team of highly experienced and certified journalists, ensuring excellence in content delivery, mentorship, and practical skill-building.
