Bola Tinubu has congratulated Africa’s richest industrialist, Aliko Dangote, on his birthday, commending his significant contributions to Nigeria’s and Africa’s economic and industrial growth.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the president described Dangote as a shining example of African enterprise whose investments have transformed critical sectors of the economy.
Tinubu praised Dangote’s entrepreneurial vision, resilience, and commitment to excellence, noting that his efforts have helped position Nigeria as a major hub for large-scale petrochemical and cement production.
He highlighted key projects, including the Dangote Refinery and other petrochemical operations, as well as the conglomerate’s cement manufacturing plants across Africa, emphasizing their impact on job creation and infrastructure development.
“I salute Aliko for his conglomerate’s role in job creation, infrastructure development, and unwavering belief in the Nigerian economy and its potential,” the statement read.
The president also acknowledged Dangote’s philanthropic contributions through the Dangote Foundation, noting its role in improving lives across sectors such as health, education, and poverty alleviation.
According to Tinubu, the industrialist’s humanitarian efforts have made a meaningful difference in communities, reinforcing his legacy beyond business and industry.
