The Department of State Services (DSS) has dismissed 115 personnel following an internal review aimed at enforcing discipline and maintaining professionalism within the agency.
The dismissals are part of ongoing reforms to strengthen accountability and restore public confidence in the intelligence service. The affected personnel were found to have engaged in actions that violated the ethics, code of conduct, and operational standards of the service, including instances of impersonation and fraudulent activities.
The DSS has advised the public to verify the credentials of any individual claiming to be a serving operative and warned against interacting with those who have been dismissed. The full list of the removed personnel has been published on the agency’s official website.
Security experts have described the move as a necessary step to uphold the integrity of the service and reduce risks posed by former operatives misusing the DSS name for criminal purposes.
