The African Export-Import Bank has successfully concluded a two billion dollar three year dual tranche loan facility aimed at supporting trade finance across Africa. The African Export Import Bank commonly known as Afreximbank provides financial solutions to facilitate intra African and international trade.
Officials said the facility will enhance liquidity and support businesses engaged in cross border transactions.
Observers note that access to finance remains a major constraint for many African enterprises.
