To All Great Nigerians at Home and Across the Diaspora,
On behalf of the leadership of the Great Nigerian Assembly (GNA), I warmly welcome you to the month of August 2025 — a month of renewed momentum, strategic action, and historic progress in our collective mission to collaboratively build a better Nigeria.
As we step into this new month, let us reflect with gratitude and rise with purpose. The journey of national transformation is not one of wishes and waiting, but of vision, structure, and collaboration — and that is exactly what GNA stands for.
Let me remind us of who we are. The Great Nigerian Assembly (GNA) is a global coalition of patriotic and professional Nigerians — both at home and in the diaspora — united by one mission: to collaborate with people of like minds, elected officials, and government agencies at the local, state, and federal levels in building and repositioning Nigeria as a nation of integrity, innovation, and inclusive prosperity.
We are non-partisan, non-governmental, and non-religious. We are organized, focused, and fueled by values of truth, accountability, collaboration, and service.
August 2025 Focus: Collaboration, Empowerment, and Community Impact
This month, we are sharpening our focus on nine strategic priorities:
- Leadership Consolidation – Key global appointments are being made across the GNA structure to strengthen leadership, strategy, and execution at all levels.
- Youth Engagement & Development – The Youth Arm of GNA has begun mobilizing for action. Expect impactful initiatives and bold ideas from this vibrant wing in the coming days.
- Global Seminary Committee Activation – The GNA Global Seminary Committee has commenced operations, paving the way for sound ethical, civic, and leadership education rooted in national values.
- Grassroots Governance Activation – A landmark event will take place on August 10, 2025, as we inaugurate the first set of Coverage Area Administrators (CAA) for Ife Central Local Government. This will be replicated to all the local government councils.
- Community-Government Collaboration via Technology – Our civic engagement platform, VoiceItOut, is being activated to connect citizens’ voices directly with government ears.
- Global Pacesetter Committee – This committee will identify and celebrate Nigerians making a global impact and contributing to national advancement.
- AI Training & Skill Development – Free and discounted training programs are launching for registered GNA members. In partnership with global educators led by CPI Technologies Inc., we aim to equip Nigerians with relevant AI skills to thrive in the emerging digital world.
- Opening of the GNA Registration Portal – This will enable individuals to officially join the GNA in their respective capacities.
- Global Publication of GNA Executives and Stakeholders – We will commence the public release of verified GNA leadership profiles on our global website.
CAA Inauguration: A New Era of Grassroots Governance Begins
On Sunday, August 10, 2025, GNA will inaugurate a distinguished body of leaders as Coverage Area Administrators (CAA) for Ife Central Local Government. These respected individuals are drawn from across Nigeria and the diaspora. They will serve as non-partisan, seven-member liaison councils tasked with:
• Interfacing with traditional rulers, elected officials, community groups, and diaspora organizations
• Coordinating validated grassroots issues via the VoiceItOut platform
• Championing transparency, civic responsiveness, and collective problem-solving
• Mobilizing community resources and attracting diaspora co-investment
VoiceItOut: Technology for Good Governance
Our bespoke civic-tech platform, VoiceItOut (www.voiceitout.org), is designed to bridge the gap between citizens and their leaders. Through the platform:
• Citizens can raise appeals and commendations constructively
• CAAs validate and forward issues to relevant authorities
• Traditional rulers, LG Chairpersons, State Commissioners, and community organizations receive structured feedback
• Diaspora professionals can track verified progress and support initiatives
• A transparent digital feedback loop ensures accountability and measurable results
What Lies Ahead
GNA is not building noise — we are building systems, platforms, and leadership. We are transforming how citizens engage the country, making governance people-centric, transparent, and effective.
This August, we urge all members, supporters, and partners to:
• Stay engaged in GNA programs and updates
• Promote the VoiceItOut platform in your community
• Support the CAAs as they provide grassroots leadership
• Join a GNA professional group and contribute your ideas
• Embody the GNA values in your workplace, community, and country
August is not just another month — it is a launchpad for transformation. GNA is taking strategic steps to demonstrate what organized citizen power can accomplish.
To every Great Nigerian, and especially to the dedicated members of the GNA, the time is now. Let us continue to write history — not with wishes, but with vision, unity, and action.
Together, we will speak with one voice, build from the ground up, and make Nigeria a nation of pride once more.
Long live the Great Nigerian Assembly.
Long live the Great Nation of Nigeria.
Signed,
GN (Dr.) Kayode Elusoji
Executive Director
Great Nigerian Assembly (GNA)
